Job Responsibilities:


  • Support the Credit and Collections functions in the development, preparation and maintenance of department reports to include minor analysis/interpretation of data,  customer statements, process/track third party collections claims, prepare bankruptcy support packets, act as credit card portal administrator, perform intercompany/small dollar collections and manage/maintain key department e-files/documents. 
  • Run and maintain periodic (daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc) reports summarizing accounts receivable information for customers, branches, national accounts and collections team, as directed by Credit and Collection management.  
  • Reports may include, Customer Agings, Branch/National Account Agings, Accounts Receivable (AR) Trending, disputes and ad-hoc. Create new or improved reporting from inputs and/or ideas from management.
  • Submit, track, and follow up on approved collection claims that are sent to third party collection agencies. Assist Credit and Collections Manager in gathering and preparing backup support for customer bankruptcy claims. Set up and maintain user log-ins.




  • 2-4 years related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Microsoft excel, collections, third party collection agency and business to business bankruptcy protocols helpful.
  • Attention to detail, good computer skills and communication skills, ability to multi-task, think outside the box, challenge the process and work successfully in a team and/or individual role with minimal oversight.


Preferred Qualifications:  


  • Associate degree in Accounting.  Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience in collections.
