Responsibilities

 

  • Administer EEO/AA policies and procedures; identify recruitment and advertisement resources to develop outreach plans, serve as a liaison to organizations serving protected groups.  
  • Proactively work with hiring managers, recruiters, and HR Representatives to ensure that a diverse candidate pool is created for all openings, with special emphasis in areas that might reflect underutilization.
  • Assist mangement in meeting goals and objectives according to EEO/AA Policy and Plans.
  • Prepare, analyze, and interpret data for Affirmative Action Plans (AAPs), internal AA audits and OFCCP audits.
  • Keep up to date on filing requirements for EEO-1 and VETS 4212 reports and prepare submission of reports.
  • Administer Reasonable Accommodation policies and procedures.
  • Proactively work with employees requesting accommodations alongside medical providers, HR Representatives and managers to ensure that an interactive discussion is conducted for all reasonable accommodation requests.
  • Track requests through the established process and work with Safety, Medical, Leave and Facilities groups to come to a resolution that effectveily implements accommodations.
  • Track and follow-up as necessary.
  • Assist in developing training content as well as facilitate training regarding equal opportunity and affirmative action programs.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • 2-4 years related experience
  • Associate degree (Business Administration, Human Resources)

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience in Human Resources.
  • Previous experience with Affirmative Action Plans, audits, and reasonable accommodations.
  • Experience in developing training content.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Outlook and Excel.
  • Comfortable with facilitating meetings.
