SAP System Administrator

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for administration of Global SAP System including installation, configuring, patching, upgrading, performance, availability, stability and maintenance of overall system.
  • Responsible for planning and coordination of change management processes required for support of the Global SAP systems.
  • Responsible for ensuring system provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering or closely related field is required.
  • At least 5 years SAP system support experience is required.
  • Experience with some of the following modules preferred:  ECC, SCM, EWM, GTS, BW, PO, BO
  • Knowledge of Solution Manager including ChaRM and BPCA
  • Experience with system refreshes
  • Retrofit experience desirable
  • Knowledge of upgrading/patching ABAP and Java systems
  • Experience supporting ABAP and Java based systems on Windows a plus
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
