RENTAL MANAGER
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all rental and used equipment activities while maximizing financial performance.
- Ensure quality shop work and timely shipment to the customer.
- Manage buying and selling of equipment, including possible equipment transfers between branches. Manage inventory, maintenance, and depreciation of equipment. Oversee scheduling, delivery, and pickup of all equipment.
- Develop sales strategies and coordinate with other departments. Set the pricing for used equipment.
- Maintain direct contact with current and prospective customers. Accompany sales personnel to perform trade-in evaluations at customer facilities.
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and counsel personnel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree, preferably in Business or Marketing. Three to five years experience managing a rental/used fleet with lift trucks and batteries preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, time management, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and department performance reports.
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
