Job Duties

  • Verify and reconcile actual line inventory and coordinate with Production Control to resolve discrepancies.
  • Use computer to enter inventory into BaaN. Receive in and issue out materials. Make any inventory adjustments. Transfer parts among warehouses and locations.
  • Use a computer to analyze data to make appropriate decisions concerning the accuracy or status of inventory at various locations.
  • Process replenishment orders.
  • Create cycle counting reports and reconcile inventory by entering cycle counting results.
  • Process rejected material to be moved out of area.
  • Conduct daily pre-operational safety checks on lift truck.
  • Use lift truck to move raw materials to proper locations according to production travelers.
  • Place and remove loads from floor, parts train, racks, trailers, and trucks. Adjust loads by hand as required for safe handling.
  • Comply with all applicable occupational Environmental, Health, and Safety standards, as well as Crown’s safety rules and regulations for each task performed. To prevent the risk of injury, report unsafe conditions and do not perform unsafe acts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Per 8 hr. shift (stand 6 hrs., walk 1 hr., sit 1 hr.), frequently (climb stairs, work above chest level), occasionally (bend/stoop/twist, reach below knee level, squat/kneel). Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling (frequently from 0 to 10 lbs. occasionally from 11 to 50 lbs.). Must be able to see, hear, write, balance, have good binocular vision, distinguish colors, do simple and firm grasping with both hands, and use feet to operate foot pedals. Must be able to work in a moderately noisy environment that includes exposure to vibration from lift trucks, inside/outside temperature changes, weld flash, solvents, battery acid, grease, shavings, oil, paint, and dust. Must be able to safely operate lift trucks and safely work in areas of lift truck traffic. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines; using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes. 


Preferred Qualifications

  • Perform same basic tasks every day and follow well established procedures.
  • Work according to daily standard instructions.
