IInternal Job Description: Commercial Contracts Manager

Markets:

 

This position is based out of Crown’s Columbus branch location and will provide coverage to the Columbus, Ohio Region and customers located outside of the Columbus, Ohio area.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

As a Commercial Contracts Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining commercial building contractors and commercial property management companies who offer new growth opportunities for Dock and Door products. 

  • Develop existing accounts & seek new business.  Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, & develop strong business relationships.  Consult & problem solve to enhance the Company’s position in existing & target accounts.
  • Develop sales strategies, proposals, & forecasts.  Develop & conduct product demonstrations & sales presentations.  Prepare quotations & customer correspondence.
  • Manage the activity of assigned accounts. Communicate to branch management any deviations from Company’s standard terms and contractual requirements of the customer. Manage negotiations of contract terms between the company legal staff and customer’s legal staff. Manage and maintain all account contracts.
  • Utilize online resources to maintain accurate records of customer meetings, customer files, & sales activity information.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs and meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales skills. This may include out of town travel.
     
     
    Qualifications:

     
  • A four-year college degree, preferably in business management, marketing or professional selling, or equivalent experience required. 
  • Strong communication, organizational, & time management skills required.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, strong sense of responsibility & self-motivation, & ability to work in a team environment are necessary.
  • Must be computer savvy.
  • Valid driver’s license & good driving record.
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Completion of a background check, drug screen, & physical required.
