CNC Machinists/Mill Operator CNC (2nd/3rd Shift)

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC horizontal and vertical mills to machine parts to print specifications.
• Inspect parts per print specifications and deburr parts as needed.
• Operate multiple machines at a time and change tooling as required.
• Clean machine and work area (includes metal shavings) as required.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on the machines.
• Train and assist other operators.
• Clean coolant sumps.

Qualifications

• Basic math (including fractions and decimals), convert between metric and English and read blueprints
• Some knowledge of CNC programming is desired.
• Must be able to safely operate a lift truck.
