Job Duties

  •  

    • Schedule, assign and supervise Facilities Maintenance Technicians and Shop Services employees.
    • Hire, train, and review work performance of Technicians and Shop Services employees.
    • Ensure quality work performance and timely completion of tasks.
    • Create, assign and audit CMMS based work orders.
    • Monitor inventory, audit parts consumption and reorder cadence. Maintain appropriate stores of all critical spares and supplies, via CMMS usage.
    • Perform annual performance reviews, weekly labor and payroll documentation, administer accountability, ensure necessary safety and HR training completion.
    • Contribute to project planning and execution.
    • Ensure compliance with LOTO, Arc Flash, and all safety protocols both company and OSHA.
    • Initiate and manage contractor action in the plant.
    • Participate in staff meetings as required.
    • Manage asset life cycle from commissioning to liquidation.
    • Plan, assign, and support all utility support for facility and equipment needs.
    • Communicate needs and progress reports to cross functional team members as needed.
    • Support all aspects of productivity, efficiency and high-quality forklift production.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma is required. 
  • Excellent communication and supervisory skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Lift 0-40lbs unassisted with limited repetition.
  • Lift 0-40lbs unassisted with limited repetition.
  • Walk, stand, sit, stoop, kneel, climb, etc. for the duration of a 10-hour workday.
  • Be available for phone support of onsite needs on a scheduled basis.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels or Crown leadership and direct reports.
  • Knowledge of computers, scanners, printers, plotters, etc. Multimeters and various electrical diagnostic equipment
  • Knowledge of various powered motor vehicles
  • Knowledge of Prints, schematics, diagrams, technical drawings

Perferred Qualifications

  • 2-year technical degree or 5-7 years of relevant supervisory experience preferred.

  • CMMS usage and strong organizational skills including common office suite software usage are essential. Valid driver’s license.

  • Maintenance and custodial certifications (PEMAC, TPC, CMM, CAMT, OSHA 10/30, CMI, ISSA, ETC.) are desired credentials.
