Laser Operator - 2nd Shift

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up, adjust and operate CNC control press brakes to form parts and straighten press to flatten parts to print specifications.
• Set up, adjust and operate band saw to cut parts to print specifications.
• Set-up, adjust and operate saw fixtures, drill fixtures, and flex arm tapping to part print specifications.
• Change and adjust tooling and consumables on production equipment as required.
• Inspect parts per print specifications, using inspection table and basic inspection tools.
• Move raw material & parts using a lift truck, jib crane, bridge crane, and material carts as required.
• Follow routings, work instructions, and control plans to insure parts are produced to print specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

• This position requires a high school diploma.
• Must be able to read blueprints, understand mathematical functions that pertain to the job, and have inspection knowledge of how to properly inspect parts.
• This position will require knowledge of CNC programming.
