Primary Responsibilities

• Lead production team, mentor and motivate team members, ensuring individual and group goals are achieved in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
• Ensure manufacturing processes are being followed as designed by conducting standard work audits.
• Interface with other functions such as quality assurance, manufacturing engineering, and quality control to solve manufacturing problems utilizing 5 Why, fishbone and other problem solving tools.
• Facilitate Tier 1 employee meetings, disseminating pertinent and timely information.
• Fill in for absent employees as required by performing hands-on production and assembly functions.

Qualifications

• Read, understand basic math (including fractions, decimals and angles), understand weld and grind symbols, read and understand part prints, production order routings, work instructions and control plans, knowledge of CNC programming and controls, remember, observe and problem solving.
