Quality Engineer (Value Stream)

Primary Responsibilities

• Quality lead of product transfer – assembly and manufacturing processes.
• Define quality controls and validations within process steps.
• Lead A/B comparisons between baseline processes/components and future state.
• Define and validate measurement techniques and equipment focusing on automation and technology.
• Support FMEA analysis.
• Utilize DMAIC problem solving methodology.
• Initial travel expected 50%.
• Transition to current product support after product transfer.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree or two year college degree with 3 years' experience.
• Six Sigma GreenBelt certification highly desired.
• Certain technical skills and training, such as quality tools and techniques, GD&T, process capability theory and SPC are required.
• Good problem solving skills (8D) are also required.
• Initial travel expected 50%.
