Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide manufacturing with verification information and data to assist in product/process improvement.
  • Assist in the evaluation and disposition of nonconforming product (NCP) and implementation of appropriate corrective/preventive actions.
  • Participate in quality assurance audits and in development activities to proactively improve product/processes and present NCP.
  • Implement and analyze statistical controls.   Support the ISO function within the plant.




  • Two year college degree and/or ASQ Certification as a Quality Technician
  • Three to five years' experience in quality and/or manufacturing related fields.
  • Must have good problem solving skills.  Working knowledge of advanced mathematics, including statistical techniques, SPC, Capability Analysis and Gage R+R is required.
  • Must be able to apply quality tools for continuous improvement (FMEA).  Must know basic inspection and testing concepts, how to read blueprints and GD+T information.
