Quality Engineer II

Primary Responsibility:

• Responsible for the analysis of product, process, equipment and method issues at designated stages of product development and manufacturing.
• Lead and support action to prevent and reduce all costs associated with poor quality.
• Work to maximize product conformance to specified requirements while ensuring best possible manufacturability.
• Employ Quality Engineering, Lean and Six Sigma methods/tools to maintain and improve process and product quality

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years' experience in related field
• ASQ Quality Engineer Certification preferred
• Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification preferred
• Excellent computer skills - MS Word and Excel
• Quality Tools skills and training, GD&T, required
• Problem solving skills (8D) required
• Good communication skills, oral and written
