Primary Responsibility:


  • Position is responsible for major manufacturing projects, often crossing organizational/global boundaries, involving process technology, product introduction, and/or manufacturing strategy development/implementation.   Projects will involve capital investment with potentials of being in the millions. 
  • Incumbent will work closely with other manufacturing and non-manufacturing functions such as Product Engineering, Quality Engineering, Purchasing, Safety, Environmental, Industrial Design, Accounting, Facilities, and Manufacturing management to develop and implement solutions consistent with the goals of the Company. 
  • Position could involve extensive coordination work with international manufacturing operations.
  • Create, set vision and provide direction for the development and implementation of improved manufacturing processes and concepts within across the organization.
  • Develop and mentor other Manufacturing Engineers and Process Technicians, provide technical direction and leadership.
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineers, Manufacturing Management, Equipment Suppliers, etc. to propose improvements to operations through the implementation of processes, equipment, tooling and state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies.
  • Implementation of process improvements in manufacturing.
  • Design of process studies to improve process/product/quality and efficiency.
  • As duties as assigned.




  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement processes/techniques such as Six Sigma, Lean, Transactional Lean or Root Cause Analysis is preferred
  • Project Management Skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Extensive manufacturing experience including plant operations
  • Must have valid driving privileges
  • Willing to travel frequently with overnight stays
