This position is responsible for administering all aspects of Crown's Affirmative Action, Immigration, Reasonable Accommodations and Diversity programs



  • Affirmative Action - Administer EEO/AA policies and procedures; identify recruitment and advertisement resources to develop outreach plans, this will include travel to attend career fairs; serve as a liaison to organizations serving protected groups.  Proactively work with hiring managers and HR Representatives to ensure that a diverse candidate pool is created for all openings, with special emphasis in areas that might reflect underutilization.  Assist management in meeting goals and objectives according to EEO/AA Policy and Plans.
  • Immigration - Administer policies and procedures regarding immigration (immigrant, non-immigrant, visas, expatriate and assignments) according to required regulations.  Assist in preparing visa and green card applications. Execute ongoing maintenance of lawful immigration status and employment authorization for employees. Ensure all immigration paperwork, is processed in an accurate and professional manner on a timely basis.

  • Reasonable Accommodations - Administer reasonable accommodation policies and procedures. Proactively work with employees requesting accommodation and HR Representatives and manager to ensure that an interactive discussion is conducted for all reasonable accommodation requests. Track requests through the process and work with Safety, Medical, and Facilities groups to come to a resolution and implementation. Track and follow up on implemented accommodations as necessary.

  • Training - Train managers in regard to diversity, equal opportunity, affirmative action and immigration programs



  • Associates degree (Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field)
  • 1-2 years experience in an office environment, preferably in HR.
  • Computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office highly preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action, Immigration and ADA highly preferred.
