Asset Specialist - Finished Goods

Job Duties

• Streamline shipment and invoicing of finished goods through global factory and retailer networks. 
• Identify and analyze factors contributing to slow-moving assets. 
• Work with the retail network to verify equipment availability and develop promotional sales lists for underutilized and ageing assets. 
• Identify potential customers for aged equipment using specifications and past sales. 
• Work with global retail network to support sales of aged inventory. Ensure trucks for sale are visible.
• Work with national and global account teams to track stock goals and determine when to reorder inventory. 
• Ensure stock quantities are sufficient to meet customer demands without accumulating surplus inventory. 
• Regularly review current stock sale rates and make informed recommendations for future stock requests. 
• Work closely with sales to manage order placement, monitor sales trends, and develop strategies for moving assets.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5-7 years related experience
• Associate degree (Business Administration)
  Non-degree considered if 6+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
• Occasional travel (0-05%)
• Occasional overnight stays (0-05%)
• Job requires employee to drive a personal vehicle to conduct company business < 20% per week (8 hours) and/or travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrate competency with Microsoft Excel (or equivalent) and Microsoft BI (or equivalent). 
• Knowledge of company product line. 
  Good interpersonal, organization and communication.
