Responsibilities

 

  • Author and develop content for eCommerce website.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the eCommerce website and provide ongoing feedback to make improvements.
  • Create and maintain the parts attribute database and metadata elements that adhere to current standards and support use across multiple applications.  
  • Develop and maintain a strong working and technical knowledge of company products and services and an understanding of company approved standards.
  • Work cross functionally to deliver quality content within project timelines. 

 

Content Development

Work with Parts Marketing team to create goals and objectives for marketing parts, while understanding the needs of global audiences and marketplaces. Improve and reorganize existing content as options and updates are added. Work cross-functionally with multiple departments, including Service and Engineering, to gather information needed to develop parts content. Develop and test sample content using new processes and templates to deliver optimal content for the User Experience. Utilize CAD drawings, photographs, training material, and other sources to create parts content for use and reuse.

 

Content Accuracy Assurance

Work with Parts Marketing to develop specific marketing criteria to ensure a corporate brand experience, while understanding the needs of global audiences and marketplaces.  Maintain current parts marketing data and resolve issues that fall outside of the standard.  Train new users on the data collection and monitor adherence to the established standards.   Monitor content to demonstrated goals drawing conclusions and making modification to process and systems to achieve the desired results.

 

Department Software and Processes

Adhere to all procedures for checking data in and out of web applications.  Assist with process development and documentation. Provide input and update processes, and documents to keep current with new/improved system methods. Create and distribute process guides that document developments in software applications and templates. Write, develop, and illustrate troubleshooting workflows for electronic delivery. Communicate new processes and requirements to all departments involved.  Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Information Architecture

Assist with the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancements to the eCommerce Parts System. Maintain a strong working knowledge of marketing databases to support static and dynamic delivery, metadata, and taxonomies.

 

Qualifications

 

  • 2-4 years' related experience
  • Associate degree (Business Administration or Marketing   Non-degree considered if 6+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
  • Occasional travel (0-5%)
  • Occasional overnight stays (0-5%)

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or related field with experience in supporting web applications.
  • Skilled in visual and written information development.
  • Excellent written/verbal communications, detail oriented, organizational and listening skills, and advanced Excel experience required.
  • Effective research, problem-solving, and decision making skills preferred.
