Content Quality Specialist

  • Stay current on content best practices and industry trends.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to develop content and collateral strategies that support the complete content lifecycle.
  • Work with stakeholders to align content needs to the overall content vision by creating content model concepts, examples, and templates.
  • Promote content that communicates with the appropriate tone and a consistent Company voice.
  • Lead projects across departments that focus on source content alignment.
  • Work closely with Translation and Terminology Specialists to ensure terminology is accurate, updated, and functions appropriately in the content.
  • Collaborate with Content Strategists and Content Engineers to ensure processes adhere to quality standards.  
  • Conduct content analysis, inventories, and audits to ensure alignment with global content practices and standards.
  • Identify areas of improvement in content processes and recommend changes to improve clarity, inclusiveness, and readability.
  • Use analytical tools to produce metrics and data that demonstrate content efficiency.
  • Evaluate trends, identify areas of improvement, and perform quality assessments to further improve content checks in the grammar and terminology plugin.
  • Create templates and content profiles to support both structured and unstructured content.


Minimum Qualifications


  • 2-4 years’ related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (English, Journalism, Communication)
  • Occasional travel (0-5%)
  • Occasional overnight stays (0-5%)
  • Valid passport


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in authoring and editing structured content for a Global market. High attentional to detail and a strong understanding of English grammar.
  • Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.  
  • Knowledge of DITA XML content authoring, component content management systems, and translation management systems.
  •  Experience with oXygen Author/Editor, Acrolinx, Adobe FrameMaker and Camtasia.
