Job Responsibilities and Deliverables:
- Create and maintain infrastructure platform that facilitates continuous integration, automated builds, and automated build verification testing to support vehicle control systems and software solutions.
- Set up and maintain configuration management tools.
- Create platforms and environments for solution demonstration, development, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, staging, etc.
- Manage and maintain development tools and environment.
- Evaluate existing applications and platforms and provide recommendations for improving performance. Perform automated load tests as needed to assess load capacity.
- Provide and publish build quality metrics for each build and test.
- Participate in the creation and refinement of applicable internal standards and procedures for scripting, branching, releasing, monitoring, and operating in all stages of CI/CD.
- Research and investigate off the shelf tools that support (CI/CD) automation and validation.
- Support configuration and release management.
Hybrid Remote Work: Crown offers hybrid remote work for this position. A reasonable commute is necessary since some onsite work is required. Relocation assistance may be available.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CICD), DevOps, SysAdmin or System Administration, and Python
- Good organizational, analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to occasionally travel with overnight stays
- Valid driver license and reliable transportation to travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience working in an Agile and DevOps process environment
- Knowledge of DevOps best practices as these relate to embedded systems product development and release processes
- Strong experience using toolchains, supporting, and developing with the following applications: AWS (Amazon Web Services), Jira, Github Actions, Git/Github, Confluence
- Proficient in designing and running test cycles, unit tests, and test scripts for embedded vehicle control systems and software applications using any test framework
- Experience in continuous integration / improvement using source control, automated build/test, and code coverage analysis tools
- Understanding of waterfall and agile methodologies and associated ways of working
