Job Duties
Global Distribution Center Operations

  • Provide leadership, policies, best practices, strategies, and common KPIs for all global Distribution Centers.
  • Offer expertise, guidance, and support to DC leaders.
  • Ensure seamless operations and alignment with company objectives across the global DC network.

On-Going Improvement/System Management

  • Promote continuous improvements in layouts, workflows, and warehouse space utilization to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of goods and materials.
  • Leverage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to track and analyze processes and performance.
  • Establish and maintain robust safety policies and procedures to comply with regulatory standards.

Strategic Plan Development

  • Develop and align a unified vision, strategy, and plans for global DCs, incorporating safety, capacity, and improvement goals.
  • Conduct analyses of DC scenarios to support strategic decision-making.
  • Recommend and support new plant expansions and major rearrangements aligned with 5–10-year volume planning.
  • Collaborate with plants, departments, and executives to implement strategic plans.

Employee Development

  • Create and revise job descriptions, conduct talent development discussions, evaluate performance, set goals, and complete annual wage reviews.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and resolving complex personnel situations.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 16+ years related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (Technical or Business)
  • Extensive travel (over 20%)
  • Extensive overnight stays (over 20%)
  • Valid Passport

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of corporate level experience dealing with MFG/Service parts distribution, and at least 5 years of company experience.
  • Strong managerial, communications and interpersonal skills.
