Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist retail network in aftermarket support activities with focus towards overall end-user satisfaction with Company products. Ensure that retail network is focused on service market awareness, customer satisfaction and retention. Act as primary after-market contact between Company and the retail network. Stimulate growth in Company parts, service and fleet management programs through interactions with both retail network and Company end-users. Promote new Company parts and service products/programs through hands-on training of retailer personnel. This position reports to the Manager of Aftermarket Field Support.
  • Coordinate visits to retail network and their end-users with focus on product support and activities that strengthen the Company’s position as preferred vendor. Meet regularly with National Account Managers and their end users to review support expectations and future project needs. Develop and implement market strategy to assist retail network in the marketing/selling of Crown Insite Fleet Management Tools and OneSource Parts Marketing Programs. Visit retailer customer base to further promote OneSource Parts Marketing Programs to end-users and work with NBO technical support to resolve any Crown product concerns. Maintain Marketing Plan for each retailer in district and provide bi-annual updates to management with specific focus on measured results and strategic selling plans. Gather detailed Service Market Awareness from each retailer and keep updated throughout the year. 
  • Participate in the development and release of new service/parts support programs.  Educate retailer personnel in the implementation of new and current programs to ensure that Crown is positioned as preferred vendor to both retailers and end users. Assist retail network in establishing action steps for continuous improvement in customer support and overall satisfaction with Company products and services. Participate in FleetStats Quarterly Business Review process and service evaluation commitments for Crown’s national accounts. Encourage participation of retailer personnel in Company training courses.
  • Communicate to Crown’s network, the Corporate Service and Parts Goals and Objectives (i.e. parts quota, parts ordering analysis, user programs, customer service expectations, etc.) Review comparison of retailers’ performance to corporate objectives with retailer management staff. Recommend action steps and provide support to promote improvement.  Review current warranty status and assist with recommendations, adjustments or training needed to improve retailer performance.
  •  Prepare all communication in an effective and punctual manner. This includes retailer/customer call reports, follow-up material for retailers and end users and all other correspondence required of this position. Provide effective feedback to Service Product Managers and other Company personnel regarding specific product issues. Manage department goal tracker documents for corresponding district and use to provide updates to management on a quarterly basis or as requested.
  • Partner with other Company departments such as Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Parts Marketing and Legal, to effectively support Company retail network and end users. Assist with presentations and other instructor responsibilities associated with Aftermarket Sales and Product Training class. Perform other duties as assigned.




  • A four year degree, preferably in business or engineering, or equivalent field experience in sales, marketing or customer service is required for this position.  The incumbent should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and problem solving skills.  New equipment sales experience is desired.  This position requires over 50% travel.
