Electronic Technician I

Responsibilities

• Analyze, test, and repair electronic circuit board assemblies and modules using multi-meters, oscilloscopes, soldering, and de-soldering equipment.
• Provide technical leadership and troubleshoot the component level on both thru-hole and surface mount assemblies.
• Remove and replace thru-hole and surface mount components to IPC standards.
• Analyze, test, and repair electronic core returns for re-manufactured program.
• Program and support automation equipment such as robotic soldering stations and RTV/conformal coat dispensing stations.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree in Electronics preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly bills of material, drawings, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling electronic units required.
• Ability to use electronic hand tools, test equipment, and test stations required.
• Basic computer skills required.
