Fleet Manager Remote Health

  • Responsible for day to day fleet management in the War Room. 
  • Monitor alerts in Fleet Viewer, update status, log comments and resolutions. 
  • Troubleshoot alerts to determine if action is needed. 
  • Communicate with retailers, engineering, and customers to resolve alerts via e-mail, phone call or retailer involvement. 
  • Dispatch technicians to address alerts and repair equipment as required. 
  • Ensure that customer policies and procedures are met for any services rendered.
  • Assist in the development and Quality Assurance of reporting regarding truck event codes and InfoLink data.

  • Provide reports to Customers, Retailers, Product Teams and Engineering upon request. 

  • Provide feedback to Service Product managers to improve equipment and service. 

  • Communicate with Remote Health Manager on a consistent basis to improve Fleet Viewer, build new alerts, and identify trends to improve vehicle health


  • Visit Retailers and/or Customers in the development and support of Connected Maintenance. Conduct monthly meetings with global teams to ensure best practices and policies are consistent.



Minimum Qualifications


  • 5-7 years' related experience
  • Associate degree (Automotive, Diesel or Alternative Fuel Technology.
  • Frequent travel (6-20%)
  • Frequent overnight stays (6-20%)
  • Job requires employee to drive a personal vehicle to conduct company business < 20% per week (8 hours) and/or travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday


Preferred Qualifications


  • Lead Technician or Field Service Manager experience with a working knowledge of data collection and reporting involving Microsoft Excel. good interpersonal and communication skills and be well organized.
  • Some travel is required to fulfill the requirements of this position. 
  • Entry level IT and wireless network skills with the desire to learn new technologies. 
  • Any experience with Microsoft SQL, Java, XML, and any other programming.
