Human Resources Representative - Manufacturing

Job Responsibilities:

• Recruit and hire employees:  Review and evaluate job applications and collaborate with managers to ensure proper qualifications.  Interview and screen applicants, check references, make job offers, schedule physicals, and complete paperwork.
• Employee relations:  Provide support in all aspects of the employee relation function including being the front-line person for employee questions regarding policies, programs, communications, benefits, etc.  Administer programs designed to establish and maintain positive employee relations through the appropriate application of organizational policies and procedures.  
• Manufacturing representative: Provide support and guidance to managers and supervisors within the manufacturing facilities.
• Other duties:  Maintain and update job descriptions in compliance with the ADA.  Conduct exit interviews. Participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 4-year degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration and a minimum of 2 years of relevant Human Resources experience or a 2-year degree with 8 years of relevant Human Resources experience
• Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal, and computer skills. 
• Experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
