Responsibilities

 

  • Provides support for all administrative functions of the various insurance plans.
  • Works directly with other Benefit Department personnel, outside vendors, and outside legal counsel to assist in developing and maintaining the processes and procedures involved in the adminstration and oversight of the insurance plans.
  • Conducts new hire orientation meetings and coordinate reminder notices for enrollment deadlines.
  • Develops and maintain the communication materials for the new hire orientation process and coordinate the distribution of materials to all U.S. locations.
  • Maintains contact with human resources representatives to facilitate proper and complete utilization of benefits for all employees.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Less than 2 years related experience
  • Associate degree (Human Resources or related field)
  • Occasional travel and overnight stays (0-5%)
  • Demostrated knowledge and experience with COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and other compliance regulations pertaining to employee insurance plans is preferred
  • On-line enrollment experience is preferred
