Job Duties
- Data Integrity and Entry - Enter, update, and maintain leave of absence dates, estimated return to work dates, transitional work transfers, notification dates, and claim details. Review for accuracy, issues, or concerns. Optimize systems for better efficiency in processes leaner, improve efficiency of data input, assess programs for improvements and consistency. Work with Leave Administrators, Supervisors, Managers, HR Reps, branch contacts, Crown Medical Clinic and Payroll. Review and update procedures for data integrity and entry processes.
- Coordination of Programs - Coordinate and support programs in the Department. Document STD, LTD, FMLA, Military Leave and Holiday Pay procedures/processes and review the existing procedures/process to meet the everchanging needs of the department and technology.
- HR and Risk Management Systems Support / Miscellaneous - Perform administrative and related duties to support the Leave Administration Department such as run various reports to track and monitor employees on a leave of absence. Electronically scan, label and file administrative forms and send out leave packets and follow-up on documentation. Assist with various projects. Answer employee, supervisor, and manager questions. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Less than 2 years related experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Office Information Systems or equivalent, with one to three years of prior office experience, preferably in HR environment is ideal.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- PeopleSoft, SAP, and Origami experience is a plus.
