 Responsibilities

40%                  Translation Quality

Conduct discovery sessions to develop translation quality assurance and collateral strategies that support the complete translation lifecycle. Work with stakeholders to align translation needs to the overall content vision by creating and adapting localization quality processes. Collaborate with Translation and Terminology Specialists to ensure terminology is accurate, updated, and functions appropriately in all content. Collaborate with the Content Strategy team to ensure source content is fit for translation.  Coordinate quality initiatives, audits, and reviews with Translation and Terminology Specialists in all regions.

35%                  Translation Memory Maintenance & Analytics

Use data and analytics to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Conduct translation memory analysis, inventories, and audits to ensure alignment with translated content practices and standards.

25%                  Documentation & Training

Create processes, documentation, style guides, and training materials for content authors, linguists, editors, and in-country reviewers to ensure the quality and consistency of translations. Educate stakeholders on translation quality best practices. Adapt current Localization Quality Assurance (QA) practices to industry changes and inform the Localization Manager and all Translation and Terminology Specialists of said changes in trends and practices.  Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

5-7 years of related experience

Bachelor’s degree (English, Localization and Translation, or Marketing, )

Occasional travel (0-15%)

Occasional overnight stays (0-15%)

Valid passport

Fluent (verbal and written) in at least 1 foreign language
