  • This position will have responsibility for the CNC/CAM programming and process development of drive housing and related components.
  • This position will lead process development for safety initiatives, quality improvement, new product introduction and cost reduction projects.
  • A strong "hands on" ability to troubleshoot manufacturing processes is essential for this role.
  • Implementation of new processes including equipment specification, procurement, coordination of installation, process capability, training, process documentation and production startup.
  • Direct production departments using root cause analysis to identify and eliminate safety, quality, and production constraint opportunities.
  • Develop training and be able to support other plant initiatives as required.
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to lead the discussion, meeting, project, etc., and communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to lead cross-functional teams and manage small to medium projects.
  • Requires good organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to support and mentor Process Technicians, Supervisors, and others.




  • 16+ years related experience.
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Must have valid driving privileges.
  • Occasional travel (0-5%)
  • Occasional overnight stays (0-5%)


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Four-year technical degree with minimum of two years relevant experience, two-year degree with five years relevant experience.
  • Certain technical skills and training such as CAD/CAM layout, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), process capability theory and statistical process control (SPC) may be required. 
  • Experience in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
