Summary:

 

Grow aftermarket revenue and maintain gross profits by establishing and prioritizing goals, objectives, and processes for pricing projects. Manage and execute part pricing research projects to ensure established price points are optimal.  Become the subject matter expert for parts pricing and utilization of the Pricing Software System.   

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and direct pricing strategy formulation and take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability to ensure integrity and accuracy for all pricing matters.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize margins for part segments to maximize sales and profits.
  • Define new business procedures, evaluate resource requirements, and stimulate implementation or maintenance of pricing system.
  • Leverage pricing software system to conduct in depth quarterly review of the business and perform analysis utilizing software analytics. 
  • Oversee continuous improvement and maintain the pricing software platform. 
  • Perform pricing analysis and provide actionable insights and assess effectiveness.
  • Work closely with accounting and purchasing teams to closely track cost changes.
  • Track market trends and keep up to date on prices set by competitors.
  • Manage and supervise pricing specialists to support activities inclusive of new price generation and discrepancy resolution.
  • Manage total pricing procedure, enhance processes to improve efficiencies and ensure timely response to market conditions. 
  • Oversee and set priorities for the Parts Pricing Specialists and the monthly pricing process. 
  • Manage process of setting list prices and adjustments monthly and semi-annually.
  •  Ensure that employees are properly trained (not only for their own responsibilities but for backup support as well) and seek out ways to advance their skills and capabilities.
  • Evaluate and anticipate work volume and assign/distribute work accordingly.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • 2-4 years related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Three years of industry aftermarket experience.  Good verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal, organizational, analytical and presentation skills. 
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as ability to organize and prepare information in concise forms to management.
