Job Description
Job Duties
- Entry level technical resource dedicated to a process or production cell.
- Support daily shop floor operation, resolving issues, quality problems, and implementing process improvements.
- Participate in Engineering design reviews for new and existing products.
- Work with Engineering to define work methods and sequences in the development of new products and processes.
- Perform analysis, data collection, and document operator standard work.
- Develop workstation and line layouts, balancing or work content, material handling and storage solutions, process documentation, and operator training as needed.
Requirements
- 0-4 years related experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be mechanically inclined with good problem-solving skills.
- Must exhibit good communication and interpersonal skills amongst shop floor and support staff.
- Additional skills and training may be required such as AutoCAD layouts, Sketchup, electrical troubleshooting, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
