Summary

 

Coordinate and lead all project work within the project life cycle (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring/Controlling, and Closing) for external customer installations and/or internal process improvement projects. Act as central point of contact for project related information. Work independently on smaller scaled projects and assist Project Managers on components of larger more complex projects or initiatives. Prepare project documentation and maintain records throughout all phases of the project.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

Document project scope and requirements. Develop and maintain detailed project plans. Resolve scheduling conflicts as required. Schedule and facilitate project meetings. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects. Execute and monitor projects utilizing Project Management Office (PMO) processes, tools, and documentation. Coordinate multiple simultaneous projects.

 

Maintain detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. Coordinate changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost. Maintain project budget. Document and mitigate project issues and risks. Report and escalate to management as needed. Monitor all other aspects of the project to ensure project comes in on-time and within budget. Coordinate changes to project scope and/or schedule as they occur.

 

Lead the ongoing review of business process improvements. Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and uncover areas of improvement. Perform requirement analysis, document, and communicate the results. Work with cross-functional teams and management. Manage improvement projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance to implement process change. Conduct meetings to present and share ideas and findings. Develop and implement recommendations and solutions. Maintain departmental financial reporting. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Maintain relationship with internal and external stakeholders and function as the central point of contact for all project related information. Communicate project status to key project stakeholders. Communicate performance of project activities regularly by written and/or oral presentation to management.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • less than 2 years related experience
  • Associate degree (Project Management, Business)
  • Frequent travel (6-20%)
  • Frequent overnight stays (6-20%)

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

Bachelor degree along with 3-5 years project management experience.  Must have interest in pursuing Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
