Regional Sales Trainer

Job Responsibilities:

           

  • Sales Skills Training Delivery and Maintenance - Lead instructor for in-person and virtual sales skills training workshops. Implement delivery of sales skills training programs at Company’s regional locations and remote learning environment. Ensure assignment and completion of all interactive sales skills training modules and continuous improvement efforts. Consult with Sales Skills Training Program Manager to understand sales related training needs and deficiencies and consider improvement efforts.
  • DP Sales Skills Training - Support branch sales meetings with STARS and relative communication content both in-person and in remote learning environments. Visit customers, ride along with sales representatives to stay current with sales skills challenges. Track and confirm application of processes for sales representative and teams. Provide feedback to Sales Skills Training Program Manager to ensure transparency and progress. Lead continuous improvement programs scheduled through remote learning, to drive use of processes, sales culture, and alignment.
  • Implementation Management - Identify, train, and monitor future facilitators to deliver sales skills training programs. Work with training coordinators to schedule classes and order materials. Deliver pre and post training communication with participants and their managers. Monitor effectiveness of Talent Connect modules and collaborate with Instructional Design Manager on updates and additional interactive training.
  • Success Tracking and Reporting - Track learning and development outcomes to ensure business goals are met as result of learning and development efforts. Collect and analyze feedback from sales individuals and teams to identify areas of improvements. Report results to training leadership. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • 2-4 years related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Frequent travel (6-20%)
  • Frequent overnight stays (6-20%)

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience in a sales training, sales management, program management, or adult educational environment with leadership background.
  • Sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Communication, Education, or Organizational Leadership.
  • Certification in Criterion Referenced Instruction methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
