Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities:

 

  • Work in a team environment to develop and foster future global manufacturing discussions.  This position will provide manufacturing expertise in the area of future planning. 
  • Develop current state and future state analysis for global manufacturing and demonstrate a strong commitment towards innovative approaches supporting company objectives.  Present out findings to leadership.
  • Develop business cases feasibility studies for vertical integration opportunities, transfers, and truck/component manufacturing locations.    
  • Possess strong analytical ability to gather large amounts of data and present out findings in a summary view using a visual and concise approach such as dashboards.  
  • Responsible for SharePoint updates and changes.
  • Lead cross functional teams for Future Facility Discussions with all global manufacturing plants.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in all aspects of projects including research, capital request, project planning, and manufacturing implementation.
  • Project Management of global manufacturing projects.
  • Develop tools and methods to foster strategic discussions.
  • Support other projects as needed.

 

 

Qualifications:
 

  • 8-15 years related experience and/or Associate Degree
  • Organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills to develop relationships with global manufacturing plants
  • Extensive knowledge of multiple manufacturing processes and system flows
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills to facilitate discussions with a wide variety of personnel at different levels of the organization
  • Ability to support multiple projects at once
  • Must be willing and able to travel, including internationally and overnight (6-20%)

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Strong background in Crown 360 system for process/part data information gathering
  • AutoCAD 2D and 3D Sketchup layouts, 3D process simulation and project management
