Job Duties

• Use a lift truck or PTH to load and/or unload lift trucks and parts.
• Drive a standard transmission truck in a safe manner in all types of traffic and weather conditions.
• Ensure secure delivery of parts and equipment to proper destination.
• Complete paperwork for proper maintenance of daily operation of truck.
• Secure dock plate and operate safety gates.
• Obtain and maintain a valid haz-mat certification.
• Obtain and maintain a valid CDL issued by the state Department of Transportation.
• Work in unsupervised areas and be responsible for the proper use of time and adherence to company policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas (5S).
• Comply with all applicable occupational Environmental, Health, and Safety standards, as well as Crown’s safety rules and regulations for each task performed. To prevent the risk of injury, report unsafe conditions and do not perform unsafe acts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Read and complete bills of lading and trip sheets. Must be able to follow directions, read maps and road signs. Must be able to read, do basic math skills (including counting parts). High school diploma or equivalent is required. 
• Per 8 hr. shift (stand/walk 4hrs., sit 4 hrs.). Occasionally (bend/stoop/twist, squat/kneel/crawl, climb, reach above shoulder level, reach below knee level, push/pull). Occasional lifting and carrying (occasionally from 0 to 50 lbs.). Must be able to see, hear, read, talk, have good binocular vision, use feet to operate foot pedals, and do simple and firm grasping with both hands. Must be able to work in a noisy environment that includes exposure to vibration, outdoor and indoor temperatures, haz-mat conditions, battery acid, dust, solvents, and oil. Must be able to safely operate lift trucks and safely work in areas of lift truck traffic.
