Job Duties
- Global Strategy & Network Optimization: Set the strategic framework for optimizing product flow across the end-to-end network. Evaluate network design, sourcing strategies, plant-to-distribution/customer flows, and fulfilment models. Identify and prioritize cost savings and optimization opportunities across the global footprint. Assess trade flow programs (e.g., trade concession orders, bonded warehouses, foreign trade zones, duty drawback, free trade agreements). Establish decision criteria, align key subject matter experts, and build prioritized roadmaps based on impact, feasibility, and speed-to-value.
- Program Governance & Execution Oversight: Provide oversight of cross-functional initiatives delivering strategic priorities. Lead multi-phase programs by translating strategy into integrated go-to-market plans aligning product, supply chain, commercial, and regulatory considerations. Define scope, objectives, success metrics, timelines, resources, and delivery plans. Facilitate stakeholder discussions, remove barriers, and maintain clear ownership and accountability through completion.
- Cross-Functional Governance, Compliance & Risk Management: Lead governance to ensure programs are aligned and executed through compliant, repeatable processes. Engage functional experts across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Tax, Trade, and Commercial teams to assess regulatory changes, determine impact, and update policies and execution. Partner with Legal and regional stakeholders to manage risks, support investigations, and maintain controls that prevent violations, penalties, delays, and reputational risk.
- Data, Systems & Documentation: Define requirements for data, systems, and reporting to support optimization, decision-making, and program sustainment. Establish visibility into product flow, transportation, inventory movement, and cost drivers. Implement documentation standards and audit trails that ensure end-to-end traceability and defensible claims.
- Enablement, Adoption & Performance Tracking: Drive change management, training, and adoption across functions and regions by aligning on priorities and execution expectations. Define and track KPIs tied to savings, compliance, and operations. Provide leadership with updates on performance, barriers, and key decisions to sustain momentum and results.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8-15 years related experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain, International Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field)
- Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
- Extensive travel & Extensive overnight stays (over 20%)
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability to drive cost savings and optimize supply chain performance.
- Knowledge of global trade and customs (tariffs, valuation, FTAs, duty programs, special regimes).
- Strong understanding of transportation, distribution, manufacturing, inventory, and cost drivers.
- Experience leading cross-functional, multi-region initiatives.
- Skilled in network optimization, logistics strategy, and trade savings programs with ROI focus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LCB, CCS) preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP/GTM systems and performance reporting.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder leadership skills.
