Supplier Enablement Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Processes  - Lead supplier data collection and validation efforts for the Company. Guide new suppliers during onboarding process and support Supplier integration mapping and testing. Promote supplier selection through Ariba Guided Buying and participate in supplier adoption and project calls with Ariba Enablement Team. Manage supplier enablement communication across all U.S. plants to key stakeholders.  Drive consistent Ariba business processes across all Company U.S. plants. Lead projects to achieve integrated enablement status to key Ariba SCC and B&I suppliers.  Facilitate projects with Sourcing Specialists to create and execute enablement Waves to onboard SCC and B&I Suppliers to Ariba. Collaborate with accounting for future supplier waves. Coordinate cutover task on future waves with Global Business Solutions Team (GBS). Create and maintain supplier communication and education materials.  Facilitate continuous supplier enablement training and communication to ensure compliance. Maintain metrics to demonstrate continuous improvement of supplier compliance. Enforce Company’s escalation process and policies and address non-compliance Suppliers. Review Ariba quarterly release information and communicate any impact to the Company’s processes.
  • Problem Solving - Serve as primary contact for the supplier enablement workstream for all U.S. plants. Contribute to Ariba support team to respond to Ariba tactical questions and problem solving. Collaborate with Ariba Network Enablement Lead & Global Digital Services and Catalog & Integration Enablement Services. Provide hyper care support during go lives with new suppliers.
  • Optimization - Optimize Ariba invoice automation and guided buying benefits for the Company. Lead integration activity to support additional catalogs. Advocate continuous improvement and education of best practices to Company end users. Monitor and communicate changes to business processes. Participate in global communication.  Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • 2-4 years related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Int. Business, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Business)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Three to five years of prior experience in material control, planning or purchasing. 
  • Firm understanding of supplier relationships with SAP experience. 
  • Good IT Systems experience, including excellent spreadsheet skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of project management. Effective oral and written communication skills.
