Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Supply Chain Cost Management Measurement -Utilize Crown360, Ariba, Risk Database for the analysis and monitoring of Supply Chain cost measurements (metrics). Measurements for spend analysis, price variance, inventory carrying costs, obsolescence cost exposure, and export/import costs are examples of what is required. Provide insight into the interpretation of the data, including drivers behind variances to allow for appropriate management action. 
  • Supply Chain Data Collection and Analysis -Extract necessary data from company systems for use in supply chain management measures. Create monthly reports to measure performance of supply chain network. Reports may include supplier demographics, supplier performance and risk reports, inventory turns, and transportation and logistics performance. Analyze and provide interpretation of data for management decision making. 
  • Supply Chain Budget Analysis and Control - Coordinate the annual budget setting process for the supply chain department. Create monthly reports tracking progress to budget and assist in the analysis of monthly budget reports for manufacturing review.
  • Measurement and Special Program Identification and Development - Provide data and analysis for supply chain projects and data requests. Identify, develop, refine, and automate special programs to enhance lean activities and operations within Supply Chain management operations. 
  • Other Administrative Responsibilities and Tasks - Utilize the supply chain department tools such as D&B Supplier Risk Manager or IHS Global Insight Pricing and Forecasting Services to perform account and user set ups, generating reports and train new users on these tools as required. Provide support as needed for request for quotation (RFQ) activities. Assist the department International Organization for Standardization (ISO) representative in updating and improving departmental ISO work instructions, forms, metrics, and reports. Report out on supply chain performance and/or supplier data with manufacturing, service, accounting, and supply chain management. Perform other duties as assigned.   

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 2-4 years related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business or Supply Chain)
  • Possess a general working knowledge of supply chains, manufacturing processes and cost accounting. 
  • Proficient in spreadsheet, presentation, and word processing programs. Possess the ability to manipulate large data files while ensuring accuracy. 
  • A high level of interpersonal skills, analytical skills, and professionalism. Work as a contributing team member and occasional leader on cross functional multinational teams. 
  • Good presentation skills and the ability to teach.
