Responsibilities

 

Authoring and Delivery Platform Enhancement

Lead and prioritize development, implementation, and ongoing enhancements to the ServiceNow CRM tool.  Make system, workflow, and structure recommendations to support all teams. Create templates and content models to refine and restructure content, promoting alignment and reuse.

 

Technical Development

Develop taxonomies and metadata structures for content classification and improved search engine optimization in delivery platforms. Work with stakeholders to develop analytics that track the effectiveness of content and knowledge solutions. Modify analytics when needed to meet business goals. 

 

Systems Integration

Understand the Company’s content systems and delivery platforms. Work with stakeholders and suppliers to develop workflows and systems integrations for automated content delivery. Oversee the integration of the component content management system (CCMS) with software tools such as translation management systems, project management systems, knowledge bases, and other content delivery platforms. Investigate technical issues that arise in the content creation, translation, and delivery process and provide timely resolutions. Evaluate how the system design affects the user experience and develop processes with usability in mind.

 

Documentation

Maintain work instructions and a log of all development. Coordinate the creation of release notes, process documentation, and tutorials to support new software processes. Demonstrate system and delivery platform changes to end users and stakeholders as required. Communicate new processes and requirements to all departments involved and provide technical support as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications

5-7 years’ related experience

Bachelor’s degree (Computer Engineering  or Computer and Information Science)

            Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED

 

Preferred Qualifications

Communicate development work to others with little to no technical experience. Excellent understanding of structured and unstructured content for a Global market. Knowledge of DITA XML content authoring and component content management systems. Effective research, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience with oXygen Author/Editor, Acrolinx, Ovitas CLS, SharePoint, SAP Visual Enterprise, Powershell, Linux, HTML, Javascript, CSS, and Google Analytics.
