Technical Support Rep - InfoLink

Primary Responsibilities


  • Responsible for technical support and assistance to clients via email, phone, and/or other remote methods.
  • Address and respond to customer inquiries on current and future company technology, such as InfoLink, Auto Positioning System (APS) and Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) products and services, including installation, operational functions, troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Provide customers with preventive maintenance and configuration recommendations to improve product usability, performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Document client interactions, including details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken.
  • Possess a basic understanding of the organization's products and services, but escalates more complex inquiries to a Tier 3 support group. 
  • Assist in the delivery of on-going training for end users and the Company's Dealer/Branch support network.
  • Provide afterhours support for national accounts as required, as well as on-call weekend support when assigned.


Minimum Qualifications


0-4 years' related experience

Associate degree (Business, Communication or Engineering)

Requires employee to drive personal vehicle to conduct company business and/or travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday.

Occasional travel (0-5%)

Occasional overnight stays (0-5%)


Preferred Qualifications


Field experience in sales, marketing or customer service.  Mechanical aptitude, intermediate computer and interpersonal skills are necessary for this position.  Self-motivated, willing to travel, and be comfortable speaking in front of small groups.  Bi-lingual language skills would be beneficial.
