Environmental Health and Safety Co-op - Summer 2024

Under general supervision, the candidate will assist and support safety professionals by being involved in the interaction and learning about various techniques and processes related to environmental health and safety.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with managing, monitoring and auditing environmental health and safety programs
• Develop JSAs for plant processes
• Review and update lock out tag out procedures
• Conduct Risk Assessments and Ergonomic Reviews
• Help develop site emergency response procedures
• Other duties and activities as assigned by the plant Safety Manager

Qualifications

• Must be graduating from high school in Spring 2024 and attending college in the Fall or currently attending college and returning to college in the Fall.
• Good analytical and communication skills required.
