Credit & Collections Supervisor

Reponsibilities

• Supervise credit and/or collection activities of direct reports which may include customer accounts, branch reporting, and customer credit reviews.
• Ensure that employees are properly trained and seek ways to advance their skills and capabilities.
• Evaluate and anticipate work volume and assign/distribute work accordingly.
• Assist in the development of strong relationships with key customers.
• Review and approve adjustments to accounts.
• May handle collection activities for key accounts.
• Revise invoices to accommodate specific customer requests.
• Create aging reports, collaborate with and report to banks.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2-4 years' related experience

Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED

• Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance)

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good computer and business writing skills.   
• Able to work in a team environment and objectively analyze credit/business risks.
