Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate activities of assigned workcenters, make sure performance goals are met, including safety, quality and production schedules. 
  • Anticipate, analyze and diagnose production problems to coordinate corrective actions.
  • Communicate and work closely with Production Control and Manufacturing Engineers on issues related to their support of departmental operations.
  • Organize and assign work, instruct, guide and otherwise assist employees in the performance of their work.  Maintain conformance with Company work rules and policies.  Deliver discipline when necessary; maintain close surveillance of the use of safety devices, equipment and tools; supervise departmental housekeeping and maintain constant alert for hazardous conditions and practices.
  • Approve weekly employee payroll hours, appraise employee performance, lead employee communications and meetings when necessary.

 

Qualifications:

  • Pervious supervisory experience preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as basic computer skills. 
  • Specialized courses or training in supervisory and administrative subjects is desired.
