Job Responsibilities:

As a Manager Accounts Manager for Dock & Door, you’ll be responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining commercial building contractors and commercial property management companies who offer new growth opportunities for Dock and Door products. 

• Manage, develop and maintain strong business relationships with assigned major accounts by contacting and visiting assigned account headquarter locations.
• Ensure proper coverage of account locations while maintaining exposure and visibility of company products and services.
• Enlist support and ensure participation of local retailers in sales calls as needed.
• Maintain a master level working knowledge of company products and feature that are relative to the usage of assigned accounts.
• Schedule, coordinate and perform product demonstrations.
• Perform and/or ensure initial operator orientation training with customer personnel to validate product acceptance.
• Develop proposals, quotations and orders for all products and services.
• Develop and make sales presentations to ensure company’s value is recognized.
• Manage contract pricing and account supplier agreements. Manage the activity of assigned accounts. Communicate marketplace and customer activity that can impact company position and budgeted objectives.
• Collaborate with corporate management on pricing strategies and monthly forecasting. Assist with annual budget preparation.

Qualifications:

• 5 – 7 years related experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Frequent Travel & Overnight stays
• Valid driver’s license & good driving record. Required to drive personal vehicle to conduct company business.
• Requires lift truck driving
• Strong Communication skills and a disciplined ability to work independently, capable of leading and garnering support to achieve common objectives within a team environment.
• Completion of a background check, drug screen, & physical required.
