RESPONSIBILITIES
• Machine and assemble any and all components per work instructions and production schedule.
• Recognize and understand the need for tool, machine, or fixture adjustments or corrections.
• Work with appropriate personnel on tool change or correction needs.
• Work with appropriate personnel on fixture, machine, or program needs.
• Ensure parts are compliant with specs; and if not, work with quality representative on suspect parts and properly tagging NC material.
• Maintain housekeeping to expected levels, be "tour ready" at all times.
• Maintain equipment per the basic care instructions.
• Support Ops Excellence, Lean and Continuous Improvement activities and initiatives.
• Comply with all applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety standards. Report unsafe conditions and do not perform unsafe acts.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Basic math (including fractions and decimals), convert between metric and English, read blueprints, some knowledge of CNC programming, reason, and analyze.
• Must be able to safely operate lift truck.
• Read and understand drawings, wiring diagrams, bill of materials, and production orders.
• Must be able to listen communicate and understand verbal instructions.
• Must be able to remember, reason, and analyze.
• Must be able to demonstrate mechanical abilities & aptitude, knowledge of CNC programming.
• Must be able to use computer.
