Job Duties

• Dust and clean factory offices and meeting rooms.
• Sweep and mop linoleum and tile floors and vacuum carpets.
• Clean light fixtures.
• Empty trash and recycle bins throughout the plant and offices.
• Clean windows and walls as required.
• Clean restrooms.
• Clean kitchenettes and break rooms.
• Run compactor for cardboard recycling.
• Work with supplier to maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and toiletries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas (5S).
• Comply with all applicable occupational Environmental, Health, and Safety standards, as well as Crown's safety rules and regulations for each task performed. To prevent the risk of injury, report all unsafe conditions and do not perform any unsafe acts.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Per 8 hr. shift (stand 1 hr., walk 7 hrs.), frequently (bend/stoop, squat, push/pull, climb stairs and ladders, reach above shoulder level, reach below knee level, kneel, balance). Occasionally (work with arms outstretched and work above chest level). Frequent lifting and carrying (frequently from 0 to 40 lbs., occasionally from 40 to 50 lbs.). Must be able to see, have good binocular vision, distinguish colors and do simple and firm grasping with both hands. Must be able to work in a moderately noisy environment that includes exposure to detergents, detergent fumes, dust, shavings, grease, solvents, oil and outside temperatures.
• Must be able to safely operate a floor scrubber.
• Required to have visual acuity to perform tasks such as: operating motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment; determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned such as custodial, food services; general labor, etc.
• Read and follow directions on labels of cleaning solutions, analyze and reason.
