Job Duties

  • Review and correct all warranty claims generated through technicians to prepare for submission to vendors.
  • Process all Crown warranty claims and claims for any other manufacturer represented by Crown.
  • Review monthly A/R reports on all vendor warranty accounts.
  • Process all warranty claim paperwork and track claims from the time they are submitted to the time they are paid or rejected.
  • Maintain files on warranty claims.
  • Tracking rejected warranties and notifying Service Manager about rejected warranties.
  • Prepare monthly list of warranties not paid and determine disposition.
  • Resubmit warranty claims as needed.
  • Maintaining, shipping and tracking warranty parts to vendors or scraping as needed.
  • Determine disposition of warranty parts returned from vendor as a result of a rejected claim.
  • Assist other parts personnel as required such as receiving parts and answering phones.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Less than 2 years related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Parts or inventory control experience and lift truck industry experience preferred
  • Good verbal communication, written communication, interpersonal, organizational, numerical perception, and computer skills
